A weekend and a half back in Aber! But I think everyone enjoyed themselves at least!
It's strange; the people who had the furthest to travel were nearly the first people to get there. We were staying in one of the university's halls of residence - Rosser, on top of the hill. When I got there, Catrin and Cathryn were busy preparing the place; putting balloons up everywhere, wedding type pictures and anything else even remotely ridiculous that they could think of! Many fond memories were brought back with all the photos of our time in Aber that were plastered around the place.
Cathryn, fair play to her, and done a load of shopping, so there was a fair amount of food around. There was also a fair amount of alcohol, so while the three of us (Catrin, Cath and myself) waited for the rest to arrive, what could we do but chat, eat and of course drink!
By the time Gwawr, Anwen and Emma Maesteg turned up (Carol was coming up the following day), I think the three of us were on the nice side of being merry! More wine was drunk (well they did have to play catch-up!).
We then thought it would be a good idea if we went down town, to remind the folk of Aber how loud we used to be! What a laugh!!!
Why is it that all the best nights out are the ones that you never plan? We ended up dancing the night away at the Glengower; dancing to those disco classics by Tom Jones, Abba and many others.
